is up and down, but generally heading in the right direction I thought bidding farewell to a couple departing after spending five nights, and leaving an enormous tip for the housemaids; a reward for their perserverence with my constant insistence on cleanliness and presentation. |

Roadworks creating a
foreshore promenade, new footpaths,and pedestrian bridges scheduled for April '04, finally commenced in June, scheduled completion October '04 in time for high season. As time ( ..... & ...... November) rolls by we watched the tourists massing on the other side of the bridge; few venturing into the mud/ dust/mud ......., at least it would be a big improvement and finished before high season was completely over; ........... I thought cheering myself up. 21:00hrs
Christmas Eve 2004
Sitting down to
dinner, a zephyr of breeze is
cooling the night, it had been a perfect day, 36 centigrade, blue
skies, blue seas; and a full house from boxing day on.I reflected on the year, and was pleased with some important contacts made, including a travel agent whose daughter & partner arrive in a few days. At last, it all seemed to be coming together, next year was starting to look very good. "Boy have I sucked him in" chuckled the Master of the Universe and everything else, ....... "He has no idea!!!" |
